Privacy notice
What we keep about you, where it goes, and how to ask for a copy or for it to be deleted.
What we hold
Your name, email address and phone number, given to us when you enrolled. The stories you record and send. The feedback Indranil gives you. When you signed in, which sessions you watched, and what you downloaded, so the team can see who may need help. The date you agreed to the honour code.
Where it is processed
The platform and its database run on a server in India. Your recordings and Indranil's feedback are also copied to his Dropbox account (Dropbox, Inc., USA) so he can listen and reply. The recorded sessions are streamed through Bunny.net, stored in Singapore and delivered through its network. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider. Nightly backups are encrypted before they leave the server.
Who sees it
Indranil and the StoryWorks team, and EbizIndia Consulting Pvt. Ltd., who build and look after the platform. Nobody else. Your stories are never shared with other participants.
How long we keep it
Video access ends on 31 January 2027. Your feedback, your recordings and your certificate stay available to you after that. Sign-in records are kept for six months. Your account is kept until you ask us to remove it.
Your choices
Write to hello@storyworks.academy for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deletion removes your account, your recordings and the Dropbox copies; we reply within seven days.
